Who can use the platform?
Ladybug Portal is designed for everyone involved in running and experiencing a school. Administrators, teachers, staff, students, and parents each have their own dedicated access, with the platform shaped around what each person actually needs to do.
Can we create separate accounts for administrators, teachers, students, and parents?
Yes. Each user type has their own account and sees only what is relevant to their role. An administrator's view looks very different from a teacher's, and a parent's access is tailored to their child's information specifically.
Can we restrict access based on user roles?
Yes. Access is role-based, meaning each user only sees and interacts with the parts of the platform that are relevant to them. Sensitive administrative or financial information is not visible to teachers, students, or parents unless explicitly permitted.
Is there a limit to the number of users?
No. There are no user caps or tiered plans. As your school grows and your student numbers increase, storage scales with you. Every school pays the same straightforward price regardless of size.
How is billing calculated?
Billing is calculated at GHS 10 per student per month. There are no hidden fees, no tiers, and no complicated pricing structures — just one clear rate applied to your current student count.
Are there any setup fees?
Yes. There is a one-time onboarding fee when your school first joins the platform. This covers the setup of your school's account, data configuration, and the support provided during your onboarding process.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept card payments via Paystack, bank transfer, and mobile money (MoMo).
How secure is our school's data?
We take data security seriously. Your school's data is protected using industry-standard encryption and security protocols, ensuring that only authorised users can access it.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored securely on international cloud servers. This ensures reliable uptime, strong performance, and the kind of infrastructure redundancy that keeps your data safe and accessible.
Are regular data backups performed?
Yes. Regular backups are performed automatically so that your data is protected against loss or system issues.
Is Ladybug Portal compliant with relevant data protection regulations?
Yes. Ladybug Portal is compliant with Ghana's Data Protection Act 2012, and we are registered with the Data Protection Commission. We handle all school and personal data responsibly and in accordance with applicable law.
Does the platform require installation?
No. Ladybug Portal is entirely web-based. There is nothing to download or install — you simply log in through your browser and you are ready to go.
Can it be accessed on mobile devices?
Yes. The platform is accessible on any device with a modern web browser, including smartphones and tablets. As long as you have internet access, you can use Ladybug Portal from anywhere.
Is internet access required?
Yes. Ladybug Portal is a fully online platform and requires an active internet connection to use.
What devices and browsers are supported?
Ladybug Portal works on any device — desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone — using a modern browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. We recommend keeping your browser updated for the best experience.
Do you provide staff training?
Yes. We provide a full onboarding experience for your team, including live sessions, video tutorials, and help guides so that every member of staff feels confident using the platform from day one.
Will our staff receive onboarding support?
Yes. When your school joins Ladybug Portal, your staff will be guided through the platform step by step. We do not simply hand over a login and leave you to figure things out — we walk with you through the setup process.
Is customer support available?
Yes. Our support team is available to help with any questions or issues that arise during your time on the platform.
How quickly do you respond to support enquiries?
We respond to all support enquiries within 24 hours. For urgent issues, we do our best to respond as quickly as possible.
Are there tutorials or help guides available?
Yes. Ladybug Portal includes video tutorials and written help guides that your team can refer to at any time, covering the key features and workflows on the platform.
How soon can we begin using the system?
Once your onboarding fee is confirmed and your school's account is set up, you can begin using the platform almost immediately. Our team will guide you through the first steps so that you are up and running without delay.
Is there an app or is it web-based?
Ladybug Portal is currently web-based. You access it directly through your browser on any device — no app download required.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time. There are no long-term contracts or lock-in periods.
Will I get a refund if I cancel?
Subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel, you will retain access to the platform until the end of your current billing period.
What happens to my data after cancellation?
Your data is held securely for 30 days after cancellation. During that window, you can request a full export of your school's data, which we will provide to you. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted from our servers.
How long have you been in business?
Ladybug Portal was officially launched in 2025 by Creare Concepts, which has been in operation since 2019. We are currently onboarding our first Pioneer Partner Schools. While we are a young platform, we were built specifically for the needs of Ghanaian private schools and are committed to growing alongside the schools that trust us from the beginning.
